Meet Erin Cox, a seasoned professional in the service industry since 1998. In 2011, she realized her dream with Sweetie's Sugar Co., a successful skincare and sugaring salon. Fast forward to May 2023, Erin sold Sweetie's Sugar Co. to channel her dedication into the creation of The Tavern on Broadway, a place where community and camaraderie take center stage.
Jason Cox, with an impressive background as a professional BMX rider, transitioned into the service industry in 2003. From bartending to managing The Inwood Tavern, he has been a driving force in the industry. In 2013, Jason and his business partner acquired Inwood Tavern, where he remains the general manager and operating partner.
Together since 2003, Erin and Jason, proud parents of three, made Prosper their home in 2019. Rooted in the #ProsperProud spirit, they are passionate about supporting local businesses and contributing to the town's prosperity.
The Tavern on Broadway is the new local go-to spot for a good time. Located in historically rich Old Downtown Prosper, our bar and grill boasts pool tables, a golden tee, and TVs for sports enthusiasts. We're not just a restaurant; we're a hub for community events and host live music on the weekends. We strive to be your destination for laughter, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments.
As the only restaurant in the area offering a wild game menu, featuring dishes like venison chilli, wild boar pork chops and bison burgers, we pride ourselves on culinary innovation. Our menu strikes a perfect balance between exotic wild game options and cherished traditional classics, ensuring a unique dining experience you won't find anywhere else in town.
